I found Computer Mechanics through a random search on the internet, to repair a cracked laptop touch screen. The location was convenient and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I was quoted on the spot and told the expected timeframe. The laptop was repaired as promised. I would recommend Computer Mechanics for the service, the staff and the prompt repair.

My experience with Computer Mechanics was amazing! I am a student and I really need my computer for assignments so when I dropped my computer and the screen smashed I was devastated. The price was reasonable and eventhough they said it would take 2 weeks max to get the parts required, I heard back earlier and they fixed my computer within an hour! Seamless service, friendly staff! The guy even cleaned the dust out of the exhaust without being asked! My computer has been working just fine since the repair so Thank you for the great experience!

Efficient service, was quickly provided a quote by a knowledgable staff member.Strange store though, lots of random pieces of hardware and old reading material decorating a fairly sparse and open waiting room. Odd signage too, thought something was wrong with my eyes when first walking in.

Very friendly and efficient service.My Acer laptop battery exceeded its use-by date and ceased charging (didn't realise that could/would happen), and the DVD player ceased working a while back (That indicates how ancient my laptop is, you do not get DVDs in laptops these days)Took the laptop in Monday, Thursday is/was Australia Day, so give it a week to come back. Wednesday, 2 days after I dropped it off, it was back with a new battery & DVD drive.Very impressed with the speed & service.

I was working on my PhD thesis last night and I spilt a whole glass of water on my Lenovo ThinkPad. Needless to say it stopped working. I bought it into Computer Mechanics this morning and it was repaired and in my hands again by 3:30 pm. I am absolutely thrilled with the service these guys provided me. My Asus laptop was stuck on this Bios Utility EZ mode that I could not get out of. After seeing the reviews, I decided to visit the workshop and was met with quick and professional service from Andrew. I left my laptop with them at noon, and managed to get it back by 2PM the next day.Brett was the technician who talked through the process with me on the next day - he was very patient with my questions which I appreciated so much. Unfortunately, my laptop had to be reset and so I got it back as a completely blank slate, but I was still grateful that they managed to bring it up and running again.You can be assured that you will not be left in the dark as they make sure to lay out the options, tell you the cost of what they could do, and get your approval first before proceeding any further. I paid around $280 in total for their services, which includes the initial diagnostic fee and other installations they had to do. Thank you Andrew and Brett for your help!
